MXI Access Overview
ACCESS, ACCESS Token, and the ACCESS SDK are software products that
complement the MXI Secure Portable Storage and Portable Security Device
product lines.
ACCESS is the software suite which provides the administrative tools
needed to manage the MXI family of secure portable storage platforms
which include ClipDrive Secure, ClipDrive
Bio, Outbacker,
Stealth,
Stealth MXP and Outbacker MXP.
ACCESS Console is a Windows application that recognises and communicates
with all MXI secure devices. In doing
so, ACCESS Console presents customised menus depending on which type
of device is currently connected. It allows device administrators to
manage users, set security policies, and configure the device storage
options.
ACCESS Token is a software product that interfaces the MXP line of
Portable Security Devices to security applications that implement PKCS
#11 or Microsoft CAPI standard interfaces. This gives applications access
to the advanced cryptographic services and private key operations in
the secure environment of a portable hardware device protected by strong
user authentication. Many applications including Single Sign On, encryption,
digital signature, PKI, and remote access are ideally suited to use
MXP Portable Security Devices through ACCESS Token.
ACCESS SDK is a Software Development Kit that satisfies the needs
of third party developers that have custom application requirements
that need to leverage the secure storage, cryptography and identity
features of MXI devices.
