How it works

• Enrolling - all users will enrol with Specops Password Reset. Enrolling includes the defining of a number of questions and answers that later will be used to reset the user's password. It is also possible to send a one-time-use verification code by SMS to the users cell phone.  This combination of secret questions and verification code makes Password Reset extremely secure.
   
• Web interface - a web based interface is included for both users and helpdesk personnel, allowing passwords to be reset from a common interface and making password policy compliance easy.
   
• Reset Password self-service - users receive an option to "Reset Password" during the login process. When this option is clicked, a secure browser is opened and the necessary validation takes place (secret questions and/or verification code); allowing passwords to be reset quickly and easily.
